In a recent questionaire, our IT services asked the following, interesting question: Please rank the following in your priority order (1 = Highest, 2 = Medium, 3 = Lowest)

• Guaranteed access to the network during normal working hours
• Access to the network at anytime (24 x 7)
• The maximum bandwidth possible

A university with working hours only (presumably theirs not mine) network access is an interesting thought. And I wonder whether guaranteed access differs from access or whether the first option is just a subset of the second option.
